Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Living Legacy Convocation & Awards

Each January, the Office for Inclusion and Civil Rights honors the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by gathering our community in reflection, celebration, and action. Our programming affirms that Dr. King’s vision is not just history, it is a living call to justice, equity, and hope.

Health Equity Research Symposium & Poster Session

Grounded in the values of the Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation (TRHT) framework, the annual symposium aims to build bridges between research, practice, and lived experience by centering community voices and interdisciplinary collaboration.

OICR Faculty and Staff Coffee Hour [Hybrid]

The OICR Coffee Hour provides an informal space for colleagues to connect and build community. There is no set agenda; topics and activities emerge organically based on who is in the room. Whether you want to share what’s on your mind, celebrate a win, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee in good company, you’re welcome to join. Drop in whenever you can and stay as long as you’d like.

Fall 2026 Semester Coffee Breaks are hybrid on Tuesdays, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
