- Providing consultation, information and referral to appropriate resources for disability‐related issues
- Providing training regarding the ADA and Section 504

Guidelines for Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability
Guidelines Purpose: People with disabilities are valued members of the UConn community. The University is committed to making sure all students, employees, and visitors have equal access to its programs, services, and activities. When needed, UConn provides reasonable accommodations to help remove barriers and ensure individuals with disabilities have the same opportunities to learn, work, and participate as others.

Animals on Campus Policy
Policy Purpose: This policy provides the rules concerning individuals bringing animals on University Property. This policy applies to all University campuses. Specific procedures regarding the presence of animals in UConn Health clinical practice and patient care areas are outlined in the UConn Health Animals in the Clinical Practice Policy.

Policy Purpose: The University is committed to ensuring effective communication to all individuals, including those with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disability Act and its Amendments (2008) as well as Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. This policy looks to address the needs of persons with disabilities who require access to university materials in alternative formats.
